Michael Imperioli Hints At Another Sopranos Project In Development

Appearing recently on The Tonight Show, Michael Imperioli — best known for his portrayal of Christopher Moltisanti on The Sopranos — stated that he is working with creator David Chase on a developing screenplay (per JoBlo).

“We’re writing a movie together right now for me and Steve Schirripa. It’s a mystery project,” Imperioli said, “I can’t talk about it beyond that.”

Schirripa played Tony Soprano’s brother-in-law in the famed series, so with all three names attached it was a foregone conclusion that speculation would arise for the as-yet-unnamed project to be tied to The Sopranos. Chase has previously stated interest in making a second film for the franchise, so the idea is well within the realms of possibility.
