New Scream VI Subway-Style Poster Tracks The Franchise’s History
Scream VI is changing locales to New York City, and a new poster for the slasher sequel maps the franchise’s past like a subway map. The franchise’s official Twitter account shared the new poster on Sunday, and you can check it out below.
The key art is (of course) shaped like Ghostface’s mask and features the victims of the franchise as stops. The poster implies that all roads lead to Sam Carpenter (Melissa Berrera), who was revealed in last year’s Scream to be the daughter of one of the two original Ghostfaces in Billy Loomis.
The film stars Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmine Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Hayden Panettiere, Courteney Cox, Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving. Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett from a script by James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick, the film arrives on March 10th and is described as follows:
Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.
