Riddick: Furya To Start Production This Summer

The next film in the Riddick franchise is set to begin shooting toward the end of summer. Deadline reports that Riddick: Furya will begin shooting in August 26th. The film is set to shoot in Germany, Spain and the U.K.

The film is the fourth in the Riddick franchise and the first since 2013’s Riddick, which was a success with $98.3 million worldwide against a $38 million budget. David Twohy is back as writer-director and Vin Diesel is back as the titular character.

In Riddick: Furya, Riddick finally returns to his home world, a place he barely remembers and one he fears might be left in ruins. But there he finds other Furyans fighting for their existence against a new monster. And some of these Furyans are more like Riddick than he could have ever imagined.
