SDCC: Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger Renewed At Freeform

Tansy and Tyrone’s adventures aren’t over yet. Freeform has announced that Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger has been renewed for a second season via the following video, released after their panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

The series is currently airing Thursdays on Freeform and stars Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph as Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, two teenagers in New Orleans from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened by and awakened to newly-discovered superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. The two come from starkly different backgrounds, each growing up with a secret they never dared share with another soul.

Cloak & Dagger has been a very solid performer for the Disney-owned cable network, coming in as one of their top-rated scripted series currently on the air. The show premiered on June 7th and the season finale airs on August 2nd.
