STXfilms has announced minor delays to their late summer films Mile 22 and The Happytime Murders. The company has shifted the Mark Wahlberg action film to August 17th, two weeks after its original August 3rd date, while Happytime Murders has been bumped by a week to August 24th.

Mile 22 is directed by Peter Berg and stars Wahlberg, John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais and Ronda Rousey. Wahlberg plays James Silva, an operative of the CIA’s most highly-prized and least-understood unit. Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, Silva must retrieve and transport an asset who holds life-threatening information to Mile 22 for extraction before the enemy closes in.

The Happytime Murders stars Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Joel McHale, and Elizabeth Banks and is set in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles where puppets and humans coexist. Two clashing detectives with a shared secret, one human (Melissa McCarthy) and one puppet, are forced to work together again to solve the brutal murders of the former cast of a beloved classic puppet television show.
