Tatiana Maslany Confirmed For Disney+ She-Hulk Series, Tim Roth & Mark Ruffalo to Appear
It’s official: Tatiana Maslany is She-Hulk and will play the role in the upcoming Disney+ series. It was announced at Disney Investor Day on Thursday that Maslany will play Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, in the MCU-set series. Also announced for the series were Tim Roth reprising his role from The Incredible Hulk as Emil Blonsky/Abomination and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner himself.
The series is one of many MCU series coming to Disney+ including Wandavision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and the freshly-announced trio of Secret Invasion, Ironheart, and Armor Wars.
The series will see Jennifer, Jennifer Walters, a savvy lawyer and the cousin of Bruce Banner, obtain some of her cousin’s powers when Bruce performs an emergency blood transfusion on Jennifer after she suffers a life-threatening injury. However, she doesn’t experience quite the same rage issues as her cousin does, allowing her to keep her job despite her transformation.
