A Writer Has Already Been Hired For The Call of Duty Movie Sequel

Variety reports that Activision Blizzard Studios has hired Black Panther writer Joe Robert Cole to script a sequel to the Call of Duty movie before the first is even released. The first film will be directed by Stefano Sollima (Sicaro: Day of the Soldado) but currently doesn’t have a cast. It’s set to begin production next year. Activision Blizzard Studios presidents Stacey Sher and Nick Van Dyk will produce with chief executive Bobby Kotick and Coco Francini. The films do not yet have a distributor.
