Zoe Saldana Is Happy James Gunn is Coming Back For Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

Zoe Saldana is pleased to see that Disney has brought James Gunn back to direct Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3. Saldana spoke with ET Online the Los Angeles press day for Missing Link and was asked about Disney reinstating Gunn to direct the film.

“I’m proud of him,” Saldana said. “I’m happy that he’s coming back. I’m so proud of Disney, actually, that all the leaders right now behind that big corporation decided to lead by example, and spreading the word and the message of redemption is important.”

Gunn was initially fired in July of last year over old, offensive tweets he had made which were brought to light by several conservative personalities.
