Hello Folx and welcome to 411’s NXT Vengeance Day 2026 Preview! We are at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, for the sixth annual NXT Vengeance Day. We have a card heavy on Vengeance tonight with clashes between former friends, rivals, and wrestlers looking for gold.

Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice look to settle their differences once and for all in an NXT Underground Match! Tony D’Angelo and Dion Lennox are set for a Parking Lot Brawl! Blake Monroe is looking to teach Jaida Parker a lesson in a Street Fight! Tatum Paxley is looking for revenge and the Women’s North American Championship, as she takes on former friend Izzi Dame! And Ricky Saints is looking to win his second NXT Championship as he takes on Joe Hendry.

Before his hiatus, the D’Angelo Family had been feuding with DarkState. Their feud ended at Stand and Deliver, after Stacks turned on the Family

D’Angelo made his return at Deadline and vowed to destroy DarkState. D’Angelo would cost DarkState their Tag Team Championships, and the following week, D’Angelo attacked Griffen with a crowbar. Which leads us to this match.

I am not sure how I feel about D’Angelo’s booking since returning. It felt like he was about to be called up, and then he was just kept off TV until returning at Deadline attack Je’Von Evans after his match with Oba Femi.

And now he is back in a feud with DarkState, and the winner of this match really comes down to what they are planning for D’Angelo. Is he getting primed to fill in one of the many vacant top spots? Or is he there to put some new guys over before finally making his way to the main roster?

I would also prefer this to be Sugars, as he is clearly going to be the breakout star of DarkState. But this is the match Michaels decided we needed, so it’s the one we are getting.

Anything can happen in a Parking Lot Brawl, and the NXT parking lot is the most dangerous in the world. So, I’m sure we will see the rest of DarkState get involved. The question is, does D’Angelo have any backup? As of right now, he doesn’t have any, and with this match favoring the numbers game, I am going with Lennox to win.

Winner: Dion Lennox

NXT Underground Match
Kelani Jordan vs Lola Vice

This feud goes back to the NXT vs TNA Showdown, where Kelani Jordan represented TNA in the match. Lola Vice accused the then TNA Knockouts World Champion, Kelani Jorda,n of being a traitor.

After losing the Knockouts World Championship, Jordan would start feuding with Vice. Their first match would be in January, with Vice winning. Jordan would then cost Vice her shot at the Women’s North American Championship and hurt Vice’s hand in the process.

The two would face each other again in February, where Jordan would focus on Vice’s injured hand, causing her to submit. Jordan would then start bragging that she was the first person to make Vice tap. Leading to Vice challenging her to an NXT Underground match.

Underground matches have been hit or miss in the WWE. Hopefully, this is closer to a hit. Vice has been hitting her stride in AAA, and Jordan is underrated. I think they can make the gimmick work for them.

It was also nice to see Baszler show up to coach Jordan, which they could use to give her a bit of an edge over a more experienced wrestler. And while I like what I’ve seen with Jordan, I think this is Vice’s match to lose. She has been getting a decent push in AAA, and a win here will raise her stock in both AAA and NXT. I’d like to see her in the North American Championship scene more, and could see her winning either the North American or AAA Women’s Championship sometime this year.

Winner: Lola Vice

Street Fight
Blake Monroe vs Jaida Parker

This feud also goes back to October, when Parker would return to NXT and interrupt a Blake Monroe segment. The two would start attacking each other every week until they finally had a match in February. The match would end in a countout, and the ladies would keep brawling after the bell.

Parker would then cost Monroe her Women’s Speed Championship Tournament match. Robert Stone would make this match official, and the next day, after another brawl, Monroe declared it would be a Street Fight.

We are getting three gimmick matches on this card, and I think I am most excited for this one. I know most fans want Monroe to be the NXT Women’s Champion or be on the main roster. But I think this stint has been good for. Holding off her call-up until there is a good story for her isn’t a bad thing, and I can see her being the one to play spoiler after Sol Ruca wins the NXT Women’s Champion and ends her feud with Zaria.

Just like with Vice, this is Monroe’s match to lose. She can use the win to get back in the North American Championship scene, or even jump past it and put herself in the middle of Ruca and Zaria’s feud.

Winner: Blake Monroe

NXT Women’s North American Championship
Tatum Paxley vs. Izzi Dame

After having The Culling turn on her and cost her the NXT Women’s Championship, Paxley has been seeking revenge on her former friend. She lost the first match at Deadline, but beat her at New Year’s Evil. Making this the rubber match.

Later on at New Year’s Evil, Women’s North American Champion Thea Hail did an open challenge to the first woman to get in the ring. Paxley was about to get in the ring, but then Dame attacked Hail from behind, starting the match and leading to a win for Dame.

I really enjoy Paxley’s work. She is sneaky strong and has developed into a good worker. She also has great character work, and even though she is so strong, she still garners sympathy from the audience. Which is not easy to do. I think it’s time to end the feud, and I want Tatum Paxley to win it here.

Hopefully, it will be a longer reign than her NXT Women’s Championship reign, and she can use the title to elevate herself further up the card, or even to the main roster. I could see Dame recovering nicely, and it might actually be time for her to move up to SmackDown to help out the United States Championship scene.

Winner and new NXT Women’s North American Champion: Tatum Paxley

NXT Championship
Ricky Saints vs. Joe Hendry

And we come to the match, I am the most torn on for tonight. Hendry won the vacant NXT Championship in a Seven-Man Ladder match. The next week Saints would attack Hendry. Hendry would get revenge by attacking Saints in the parking lot and challenging him to a match, which Saints accepted if Hendry would put the title on the line.

Which leads us to our main event tonight. I feel like Saints deserves a much longer run than his short one last year. He has the charisma to back it up and is good in the ring. Also, I think Hendry is moving up sooner, rather than later.

But there is another factor to consider, it’s an All EGO factor. Page is no longer the North American Champion, and he may be ready to try to reclaim the NXT Championship. So, we could see Hendry get the win here, and then a Triple-Threat at Stand & Deliver, where Page gets the title.

Page and Saints can then feud over the title for the rest of the summer, before one or both of them get the call-up. Saints and Page can be the ones to hold the division together, as Michaels works to rebuild and establish new names to fill the vacancies at the top.

So, I am going with a Hendry win here, a Page win at Stand & Deliver, and a Page vs Saints feud for the summer.

Winner and still NXT Champion: Joe Hendry
