411’s WWE Talking Smack Report: 02.06.21 – Big E Says He Will Main Event WrestleMania 2022, Paul Heyman Gives Adam Pearce an Ultimatum, and More!

411’s WWE Talking Smack Report: 02.06.21
–Last night on SmackDown, Roman Reigns demanded an answer from Edge, but ended up eating a stunner from Kevin Owens to keep that program going. Talking Smack should have some fall-out so let’s get to it.
-Kayla Braxton welcomes us to the show and she is joined by her co-host, Paul Heyman. Kayla covers the happenings from SmackDown and wants Paul’s thoughts on the ending of the show. Paul says his conversations with Reigns are privileged and he is annoyed by the question. The question should be how does Paul feel now that everyone is eyeballing Roman Reigns. Paul says that everyone should be coming for Reigns and that Edge can go to RAW, NXT first, but the Main Event of WrestleMania this year will feature Roman Reigns. KO screwed the WWE Universe out of Edge’s answer. Heyman says KO will never get another shot at Roman and his Title and that Edge has to pick Roman or he will be regulated to co-main event or special attraction at WrestleMania because Roman Reigns is The Main Event.
-Big E is out as our first guest and he is quite happy as you would expect coming off his successful title defense. Big E says he is not out here as an Indy Darling that made a name for themselves. He can from FCW and started from scratch to get where he is. Big E shows off the side plates on his IC Title and gives a shout-out to the guy who designed them. E says he wasn’t worried about the match tonight. He questions how many times he is going to have to be in the ring with Sami or Apollo? He will do it again next week if needed and they can add a 4th person if they want. He is here to establish a legacy and he has put 8 years of a great resume. He is going to keep building on this IC Title. Big E isn’t worried about Sami’s claims of conspiracy or who is next for him at Mania. All that is outside noise and he just focuses on what he likes to do as he mentions he has been watching Doom Patrol. Paul says he knew Big E would get by Apollo Crews. E calls him out on that as he points out Heyman was hyping up Crews. Heyman shoots back that a champion is only as great at their challengers. Heyman says that E will be able to defend the IC Title at Mania, but he won’t be the Main Event. He needs to use the IC Title to build himself up to be in the Main Event next year against Roman Reigns. Heyman says that E should be pissed off he is not the Main Event of Mania this year. E says it doesn’t piss him off, but it motivates him. He tells Heyman he will see him and his boy in the Main Event in 2022 if Roman still has the title. Big E takes his leave.
-Heyman says that Roman will be Champion next year and for as long as he wants to keep the title. Then he rages on E not taking his mic with him as they are told week after week to take the mic with them when they leave.
-We go back to The Royal Rumble as they show highlights from Bianca’s win in the Women’s Royal Rumble.
-Bianca is out as our next guest as she jokes that she is a guest every week on this show. Bianca says winning the match finally hit her when she pointed to The WrestleMania sign. She is on top of the world and wants to get her emotions in check before she makes her decision. Kayla can see a new confidence in Bianca. Paul congratulates her and says that not making a decision is a perfect strategy and is such a great one that even Edge is copying it. Paul gushes over Bianca as you can tell he is a big fan. To him it doesn’t matter who she picks as he knows she will leave WrestleMania as a champion. That’s not a prediction…it’s a spoiler. He doesn’t think there is anyone in her league and he looks forward to seeing her start her journey to legendary status. He tells her to savor every moment as she will look back as this is the moment she made it happen for herself. Kayla and Bianca have no words to follow that up so she just takes her mic with her and takes her leave.
-Adam Pearce is out as our final guest and I assume we will be getting some kind of breaking news. Heyman tells Pearce that Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are not here. “Kayla doesn’t like me!” Nice! He tells Adam that the floor is his and he can say whatever he wants to say. Pearce jokes about asking Paul for the match he challenged him to, but he won’t. He has nothing to say as he knows the only reason he is here is because Paul has something he wants to say to him. Heyman calls him the best authority figure in decades. Heyman says if Pearce is not fired by Tuesday or Wednesday, he and Roman Reigns will get to enjoy seeing him being fired on SmackDown on Friday. He claims Edge is pulling everyone by their strings and Edge delaying is going to put Pearce on the unemployment line. The WWE is constantly moving forward and brings up how it moved on from The Sammartino Era, Hogan Era, The Rock/Austin Attitude Era, The John Cena Era (which Heyman likes to call The Brock Lesnar Era). It moved from Vince Sr to Vince Jr and when the day comes it will move forward without Vince Jr, but they are all supposed to wait for Edge to make his decision. WWE waits for no man or woman and mentions Elimination Chamber is coming up and there is no Main Event from RAW for that show. The minute Edge did not pick Drew on Monday, Pearace should have been naming Drew’s next challenger for Elimination Chamber. This is not just Paul talking as the Board is also talking as they want matches to promote and hype. Paul has known Vince McMahon for 40 years and he knows he wants answers. He isn’t saying he spoke to Vince, but he’s not saying he hasn’t either. This Monday Night Adam has to show up on RAW and announce the RAW Main Event for Elimination Chamber and if he doesn’t it’s either answer to advertisers and the board or head to the unemployment line. Paul then says Sonya Deville has a crush on him and would love to take Pearce’s job when he gets fired. He tells Pearce to make his decision wisely. “Name a Main Event this Monday or pack your bags and hit the road.” Pearce looks sad as the show closes.
-Well, that was fun and we are at the point that the WWE having no matches announced for a fast approaching show is storyline now. Another good show with an intriguing ending, but not as great as what we have been getting. Still even just a good show from this group is captivating to watch. Thanks for reading!
