AAA Working To Get Rush Back For Triplemania: Tijuana

As previously reported, both Rush and his father Bestia del Ring announced they quit AAA. This put AAA in a bind, as Rush and LA Park were set to team up at Triplemania in Tijuana next month to face Sam Adonis and Psycho Clown. The losing team was set to face each other at the Mexico City Triplemania event in a mask vs. hair match.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the company is currently looking to get Rush back for at least the Tijuana show. Rush’s team was likely set to win that match and be eliminated from the tournament, although Park was suggesting he would make sure they’d lose to get the match. Rush has not been offered enough money to lose his hair against Park, however. AEW also likely wouldn’t want that to happen and he’s under contract there.

The general public in Mexico believe that Rush and Park want the match and have blamed AAA for not making it happen. AAA has been quiet ever since Rush’s announcement. Most backstage are said to be shocked AAA didn’t even have a written agreement with Rush.
