Alberto El Patron & Paige Speak Out Publicly About Airport Domestic Incident

– Alberto El Patron and Paige have spoken out publicly about the domestic incident that took place at Orlando International Airport last month. The couple, who were both under criminal investigation for the altercation that occurred on July 9th, discussed the incident on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio. Paige noted that they’re laughing at the whole thing now, even though at the time it was a “massacre” in the media and a nightmare for them and their immediate family. She said that the argument was actually the kind of thing that you see from people all the time in public in terms of arguments, but that it blew up in the media. They wanted to stay quiet because they were waiting for the official report to come out, just so people could see that it wasn’t as big of a deal as people made it out to be. She said that while they originally wanted to keep quiet, they decided that they shouldn’t feel ashamed of having an argument in public even if they shouldn’t do it. She said that “people need to relax, even the cops.”

Patron said it was nothing and that they don’t want to be the kinds of celebrities who never leave their houses and never go out into the public eye. He said that the sergeant involved in the case in Orlando said it was nothing. He said that they had a normal couple argument and the internet spread a bunch of lies while they were waiting for the oficial reports to come out. He said these days it’s not what you say, it’s what you can prove and that’s why they were waiting. Patron said that they have strong personalities — “passionate people” — and go all out whether they’re loving or fighting. They said things that they didn’t mean.

Bully Ray stuck up for the two on the “passionate person” comment, then asked them explain what inaccurate information has been passed on. Paige brought up the story that there was an arrest warrant out for her in San Antonio, which was proven to be false. Patron said that 90% of the things reported were untrue, though they only mentioned the one story.

Paige said that the truth was, Patron said something he shouldn’t have and she threw a drink on his head, which she shouldn’t have done. Patron acknowledged that he said something mean that he shouldn’t have said and felt humiliated when he got doused, because they were surrounded by people. He reacted angrily but said three minutes later when the police asked what he wanted to do, he said “nothing” and the police let them go, telling them to go their separate ways until they calm down.

Both of the two said that they shouldn’t have done what they did, especially in the public eye. Patron acknowledged that their behavior was bad and said he’s trying to teach his kids to act in a certain way and that he should have been doing the same publicly. Paige said that she wanted to apologize to younger fans for their public behavior. Patron said he wouldn’t apologize for it, and is instead just going to act the way they should be acting in public. He said it wasn’t their intention to offend and that they’re going to move forward.

Bully Ray brought up Paige’s family speaking out saying that they’re concerned for her and asked about her relationship with them. She said that she loves her family, and that they were reacting to the stories in the media at the time. She said she’s spoken with them and they’re fine. She said that they’re said about her uncle, who passed away yesterday. She said that when it comes to the two of them, her family is fine now and want them to be happy.

Patron said that Paige’s family found out about the whole thing via social media and news reports, and didn’t know what was going on until they spoke with him. They were concerned that someone was arrested and said Paige’s family believed the “internet BS” and reacted to that.

It must be said at this point that their interview does not address claims by Paige’s brother Roy that “We got pics from the last 6 months bro of her beating” and that Patron was trying to get Paige fired “cause he don’t want her there.”

Bully Ray asked the two if they were generally happy together and if they saw their relationship lasting. Paige said that Patron “can be an a**hole, but he’s my a**hole.” Patron said that they want to be together and that while you never know what may happen, they’ve been working to make the relationship work and whether others support them or not, they’re together and happy. He said that they support each other and bring positive things to each other’s lives.
