Alexander Wolfe Shares Pre-Pandemic Plans For Sanity Reunion
In a recent appearance with Developmentally Speaking, Alexander Wolfe shared some details on the initial plans to reunite the Sanity faction that never came to fruition (per Wrestling Inc). Wolfe explained that after the initial breakup of the stable, things would have been arranged to maneuver talent between rosters to get the group back together. The pandemic unfortunately prevented the realization of those factors, however. You can find a highlight and watch the full episode below.
On how the separated members would have been brought around to re-form the faction: “There was actually a plan to re-form Sanity… The plan later was they would separate me from Imperium, because I would be the weak link. And then in that time also, they would re-form Sanity with Killian Dain … and Eric Young, and they would win the NXT tag team gold. And in that case, they would go on to feud with Imperium, and I would join again Sanity. … We would have a feud against Imperium, and then we would go back to U.S. NXT.”
