A new favorite leads the pack to secure TNA’s media rights according to a new report, namely AMC. It was reported last month that AMC had emerged as a contender for the promotion’s media rights. As Jon Alba reports for SI’s The Takedown, AMC posted a teaser on Monday to social media. The teaser featured the date of January 15th, 2026. It also shows the AMC logo over the sound of a live audience cheering. You can check it out below.

The report says that beyond that teaser, sources in both TV and wrestling have indicated that it is believed TNA’s programming will head to AMC Networks. The report notes it is believed that TNA will head “at least in part, but possibly in full” to the company. Several TNA talent indicated that promotional material for next year was being filmed and put together. It’s not confirmed that the content is for AMC, but many believed that was the case.
TNA President Carlos Silva has spoken for much of the year about TNA’s media rights. Networks like The CW and A&E, both of whom have relationships with WWE, emerged as contenders over the year. WWE of course has a working relationship with TNA. Fightful Select reports that the deal could be announced as soon as Tuesday. There is a talent call scheduled for early on Tuesday and the deal is expected to be addressed there.
It is not currently known if TNA has secured the $7 million to $10 million it sought for a new deal. The report also notes it isn’t clear if new live programming would be added in a new deal.
AMC Networks is host to a number of individual networks including the core AMC, BBC America, and IFC. It also includes the streaming networks of AMC+, Shudder, and others. AMC’s main network is in around 60 million homes, double of what TNA’s current network home of AXS TV reaches. TNA also has TNA+; it is not clear whether weekly programming would stay on TNA+ or not.
NXT star and TNA alumna Jordynne Grace posted to Twitter commenting on the teaser. She shared an image of Michael Jordan in tears with a caption: “I used to pray for times like these.”
