Asuka WWE Royal Rumble 2018

The first-ever women’s Royal Rumble winner is official. Asuka won the 2018 women’s Royal Rumble match to earn a title shot at WrestleMania. You can see pics and video from the match below.

The final four for the women’s Rumble were Asuka, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Sasha Banks. The Bellas surprised Banks and got her out of the ring, after which Nikki turned on Brie and eliminated her. Nikki and Asuka went back and forth until Asuka and Nikki both ended up on the outside, with the latter kicking Nikki off to win the match.

After the match, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair entered the ring. Standing inbetween them, Asuka looked from one to the other but didn’t appear to make a choice. Then Ronda Rousey came out to the arena to the apparent shock of everyone, made her way into the ring and stared off with all three women. She pointed at the WrestleMania sign to a crowd pop and then stared off with Asuka, offering a hand shake. Asuka teased the shake and then slepped her hand away, before Rousey pointed once more.
