Fightful Select, who spoke with talent, stated they were told that they had seen and heard the same thing, but they weren’t sure whether it was a work. The report noted that they didn’t get a concrete answer about the contract statuses of the two men and there is no clear indication that the two had their deals coming up soon, or if they’d re-sign.

They signed multi-year contracts back in 2019, but the length of the deals was unclear. The tag team is slated to compete for the tag team titles on SmackDown on Friday night.
