Baron Black On Lil Scrappy’s Performance At Battle Slam: Aftermath, Trillville’s Surprise Appearance
Lil Scrappy was in action at Battle Slam: Aftermath, and Baron Black spoke after the show to praise the rapper’s in-ring performance. Black spoke with Fightful’s Stephen Jensen after the event and weighed in on the Atlanta rapper’s in-ring performance as well as Trillville’s appearance as a special guest, and you can see th ehighlights below:
On Scrappy’s performance at the event: “You saw him tonight [Sunday]. He beat Shoot Taylor to advance to the finals. He got a little too bit crunk in the finals and got himself disqualified. One thing is for sure, he lives for this industry, lives for this sport, lives for this business. You saw when he wrestled me, he got the upset win, I will get that back, trust me. He got a win over Shoot Taylor. He still has not been pinned, that’s crazy. You see the work ethic he’s put in, you see his performance in the ring. I have nothing but respect for that man because he doesn’t have to take it seriously, he’s already a made superstar on television and a rap legend. He came in here, gritted his teeth, and started like a rookie. He took it seriously and you can see the raw product of him in the ring.”
On Scrappy bringing Trillville for the show: “I didn’t know Trillville was going to be here until he came out with Scrappy. Trillville was here, then he punched one of my referees. I don’t know what the hell that is about either. We’re gonna have to decipher that because there has to be consequences and repercussions. You can’t put your hands on my officials. Mr. Trillville, I’m going to be hollerin’ at you. Scrappy can’t come in here and do what the hell he wants to do. You can’t do it either. There will be consequences and repercussions, trust the world champ when I say it.”
