Becky Lynch Recaptures Women’s Intercontinental Title On WWE Raw
It required some cheap tactics, but Becky Lynch is once again WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion following this week’s WWE Raw. Lynch defeated Maxxine Dupri on Monday’s show to reclaim the title that she alleges she never lost.
While Dupri came close more than once, Lynch was able to use her veteran’s advantage to get the pin. As Dupri had Lynch in a grapevine ankle lock, Lynch bent backward and held onto the ropes. With Dupri’s shoulders on the mat, the referee counted the three-count.
Lynch is now a two-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion. She ends Dupri’s reign at 49 days. Dupri won the title from Lynch on the November 17th episode of Raw. You can see highlights from tonight’s WWE Raw match below.
