Cameraman Files New Arguments in Lawsuit Against Titus O’Neil & WWE
The cameraman who is suing WWE and Titus O’Neil over an injury suffered during a segment of Swerved has filed an amended suit. PWInsider reports that Donald Anderson filed an amended lawsuit with new arguments to counter the company’s claim that they should be dropped from the lawsuit.
Anderson’s amended filing refers to several quotes by Triple H and WWE executive John Saboor about the WWE Performance Center’s importance in Florida. The quotes, he argues run counter to the claim that WWE are not under the court’s jurisdiction in Florida, as they regularly do business there.
The lawsuit argues that WWE placed Anderson in an unsafe working environment for the segment, which saw Paige hit O’Neil with a stun gun. O’Neil then allegedly became enraged and kicked a video camera out of Anderson’s hand, resulting in injuries to the camera man’s hand, wrist and fingers. Anderson says he was injured to the point that he was unable to work for six months.
Anderson isz szeking $15,000 in damages and an unspecified amount of punitive damages.
