Chris Hemsworth To Play Hulk Hogan In Netflix’s Hogan Biopic
February 20, 2019 | Posted by
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Chris Hemsworth is set to play Hulk Hogan in the upcoming Hogan biopic. Todd Phillips (The Hangover series, The Joker) is set to direct from a script by Scott Silver and John Pollono.
Netflix is in the process of closing a deal for the film which will focus on the rise of Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania (and not the later years of Hogan’s life).
Interestingly enough, Eric Bischoff is one of the producers, along with some big Hollywood names including Bradley Cooper and Michael Sugar (producer of Spotlight).
Hogan himself will be involved with the project as a consultant and an executive producer.
