– During a recent interview with The Takedown on SI.com, AEW star and reigning ROH World Champion Chris Jericho was asked about the rumors regarding former AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker. As previously noted, Baker has been mysteriously MIA from AEW TV since November, it’s rumored that Tony Khan has become frustrated with Baker and no longer wants to book her on AEW. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):

Chris Jericho on Britt Baker: “I mean you’d have to ask Britt that. I haven’t really heard either way, but I know she’s obviously a very valuable part of the company. She’s one of the OG’s, probably one of our first homegrown stars, and I think she does a great job whenever she’s in the ring.”

On how he doesn’t see Baker leaving AEW: “So I don’t see her leaving or going anywhere, and I’m looking forward to having her come back on the show because has a great character and a great presence, and once again, a great fanbase within AEW, within the wrestling world.”

It was later reported that Baker is still under contract with AEW for “quite a while.” During a recent appearance in a video on Diamond Dallas Page’s YouTube channel, Baker stated that she’s been off AEW TV due to outside projects she was working on.

Baker last appeared on the November 13, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, where she defeated Penelope Ford. Serena Deeb came out after the match, confronting Baker to set up a potential feud. Baker was seen visibly saying, “Nobody cares,” when Deeb came out. She’s yet to appear on AEW TV since that segment.
