Daniel Bryan Says Hideo Itami is ‘Dangerous’ Ahead of Cruiserweight Title Match at Royal Rumble
– Daniel Bryan appears in a new video, detailing exactly what Hideo Itami’s opponents in the Royal Rumble’s Cruiserweight Championship match are in for. You can see the video below, in which Bryan recalls Itami kicking the hearing out of his left ear.
“Is Hideo Itami dangerous?” Bryan said in the video (posted by Ariya Daivari). “Well, I can’t hear out of my left ear. See, Hideo Itami and I were fighting in Ring of Honor in 2006, and we got into a battle of strikes. A battle that I lost. A battle that ruptured my left eardrum. Shortly thereafter, not only could I not hear out of my left ear, I can’t go underwater. So, is he dangerous? Yes, he is.”
Itami will face Buddy Murphy, Akira Tozawa and Kalisto in the match for Murphy’s championship at the Rumble.
