Details On All Five Episodes of WWE Unreal on Netflix

As previously reported, the new unscripted reality show from WWE, Unreal, will debut on Netflix on July 29. Post Wrestling has details on each of the show’s five episodes, including what each episode will focus on.
The show is produced by Omaha Productions, NFL Films, Skydance Sports, and WWE. Chris Weaer is the director while Erik Powers is the showrunner. Executive Producers include NFL Films’ Ross Ketover, Jessica Boddy, and Ken Rodgers.
Episode one will look at the WWE RAW premiere on Netflix and features a focus on CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley.
Episode two will focus on the men’s Royal Rumble match and the feud between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. There will be a spotlight on Jey Uso as well.
Episode three focuses on the women, particularly Chelsea Green winning the US title, Charlotte Flair returning, the women’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chambers and a spotlight on Bianca Belair. The Rumble episodes have a feature that follows a wrestler through the match in a continuous sequence. It was described as “visually compelling.”
Episode four covers John Cena’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber and how far they went to keep it a secret. It also looks at the Men’s Elimination Chamber match and the New Day’s heel turn. Nick Khan will speak on this episode, which also features appearances from The Rock and Brian Gewirtz.
Episode five focuses on Wrestlemania, specifically Gunther and Jey Uso, CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns, IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair, and Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena. It will incldue a scene of Triple H getting notes for the next night’s RAW, to highlight how WWE’s creative process is continuous.
