As previously reported, Dragon Lee is the new WWE Speed Champion after defeating Andrade on this past Wednesday’s episode. In posts on Twitter, both the new champion and Triple H gave their thoughts on the moment.
Triple H wrote: “He’s delivered incredible performances throughout this entire No. 1 Contender’s Tournament… and now, he’s your NEW #WWESpeed Champion. Huge congrats to @dragonlee95 on this well-deserved victory”
Lee added: “Thank you for the opportunity. I will carry this championship with pride and defend it with honor.”
