In a post on Twitter, Dustin Rhodes said that he needs two knee replacements and thinks he has about three years left in wrestling. Rhodes sent out the message to correct an article done elsewhere, and used the rest of the post to thank fans for their support.
He wrote: “I have not had 2 knee replacements, I need 2 knee replacements. Also, as tough as it is going to be, i would and I say this loosely, have prob 3 yrs left. I want my fans to really feed me their energy the next few yrs, because as much as I love the biz, I love them more, for allowing me in to their lives and homes. I am very blessed to still be in great shape and actually hanging with the younger generation a lot, because Of the fans energy and their love for me. I will always give it 100%!! I just appreciate and feel blessed that they still hang in there for me. I need them now more than ever, because it is absolutely going to suck when I put my boots and ass to rest. Its terrible to think about. So lets just take it easy and give me all u got. Love yall.”
