ECWA Super 8 Tournament Results 3.21.15 – Woodbury Heights, New Jersey

Quarter Finals:

* Jason Kincaid defeated Kai Katana
* Corey Hollis defeated BJ Hancock
* Jaxson James defeated Breaker Morant
* Sean Carr defeated Napalm Bomb

ECWA Heavyweight Title Match: Matt Saigon won the title an elimination 3 way over Bobby Shields and current champion Ricky Martinez. Saigon eliminated Martinez first then defeated Shields to win the title.

ECWA played a 5 minute tribute video for Larry Winters. Joel Goodheart then inducted Winters into the ECWA Hall of Fame. Larry’s two sons accepted on his behalf then former WWWF wrestler Davey O’ Hannon spoke some nice words about Larry.

ECWA Super 8 Semi Finals:

* Jason Kincaid defeated Jaxson James
* Corey Hollis defeated Sean Carr

JD Browning, Referee Phil Sly and ECWA Tag Champs Kyle & Chuck Payne defeated Kid USA, Mr. Oui and Sam Shields when Phil Sly pinned Mr. Oui.

ECWA Women’s Title: Renee Michelle defeated Tessa Blanchard to win the title.

ECWA Super 8 Finals
* Jason Kincaid defeated Corey Hollis to win the 2015 Super 8 Tournament.

Notes:

Crowd looked to be in the 250 to 300 range.

There were 10 to 15 members of Larry Winter’s family in the audience for his induction into the ECWA H.O.F.

Joel Goodheart mentioned he may write a book about his old TWA promotion.
