Eric Bischoff Compares WCW’s nWo Storyline to TV’s Dexter

– During a recent interview with the Under the Ring podcast, former WCW President and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff discussed the nWo storyline in WCW and compared it to the television series, Dexter. According to Bischoff, they are similar because the storyline was great, the ending was bad, and the ending did not go the way Bischoff wanted. He stated the following (via WrestlingInc.com):

“As significant and industry-changing as the nWo storyline was, clearly it didn’t end the way I wanted it to end. … Dexter was a phenomenal series, right? Everybody loved that episode, couldn’t wait to see the next episode, and the ending sucked. People were angry about the ending of the Dexter series, and, you know, the nWo is the wrestling version of Dexter if you will.”
