Eric Bischoff Could Be Starting New Wrestling Promotion

There have apparently been discussions between Eric Bischoff and CMT about creating some type of new wrestling promotion or wrestling-related program to tie in with the upcoming Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling series that will also air on the network. Bischoff said not too long ago that working on the new Hogan series (Bischoff is an executive producer of that show) had “whetted his appetite” to be involved with wrestling again. Whether anything comes from these discussions between Bischoff and CMT remains to be seen.

Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com also seems to speculate that Goldberg might somehow be involved, given his recent statement that he is now training for a return to wrestling.
