Ethan Page Not Worried About His Chances Against Axiom On Tonight’s WWE NXT
Ethan Page battles Axiom in an Iron Survivor qualifier on tonight’s WWE NXT, and the former NXT Champion is feeling good about his chances. The two are battling for a chance to be part of the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, and Page was asked about the match during an interview with WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard.
“I’m confident I’m gonna beat Axiom,” Page said. “No offense, Axiom, I think the WWE is confident I’m gonna beat you, too. I don’t see you sitting in this room being interviewed to talk about Deadline. If you’re lucky enough to squeak one past me, by all means, you can come redo all these interviews and all the hospital visits and the charity events, everything that Ethan Page does to make this company better when they depend on me.”
He continued, “:That’s why I’m here right now because they know I’m gonna kick your ass, I’m gonna move on. Also, we gotta get people to tune in. ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page is the one to do that. So we’re going into Deadline. I’m just gonna gloss over Axiom. Lucky enough, his tag partner is in a match, so if both of them are upset with the outcome of Tuesday, don’t worry. [Nathan] Frazer can make good on that come Deadline.”
Axiom’s tag team partner Frazer has already qualified for the Iron Survivor Challenge, having done so on last week’s NXT.
