WWE NXT North American Champion Ethan Page had a cheeky response to the NXT General Manager on social media, referencing his past history as a member of the AEW roster. A recent question by Ava on her X account prompted the remark from Page.

Ava initially wrote, “@OfficialEGO, how was your Uber ride to work today?” Ethan Page later responded, “I don’t work on Wednesdays anymore, A V A.”  You can view that exchange below.

Of course, Page is referencing his time in AEW, where he wrestled from 2021 to 2023. He departed from the company in 2024, later signing with WWE and debuting on the NXT roster in May of that year.

Ethan Page is currently on a huge roll with his career. He also holds the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Titles with Chelsea Green. They recently defended their belts on the Nov. 22 edition of AAA Alianzas, beating Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana to retain the titles.

Since debuting in NXT, Page has won the NXT Championship and the North American Title. He won the title on the May 27 edition of NXT TV, beating Ricky Saints. He’s held the title for over 181 days.

Ethan Page will next defend the North American Title later this weekend at NXT Deadline against AAA star Mr. Iguana. The premium live event will be held at the Boeing Center at Tech Port on Saturday, December 6. It will air live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
