Update on What’s Next for Hangman Page Following AEW Revolution

Hangman Page is set to take some time off in the near future following his loss at AEW Revolution, per a new report. As noted, Page lost a vicious Texas Deathmatch to MJF in the main event of Sunday’s PPV. As a result, Page can never challenge for the AEW World Championship as long as he lives.

In the wake of that development, Fightful Select reports that according to souces in AEW, Page will be taking some time off from the company. It is not clear if the time off will start right away or if he will appear on Dynamite in the coming weeks. All that was noted was that “the active plan” is for Page to take some time off from the company.

In addition to losing the AEW World Title match, Page and JetSpeed lost the AEW World Trios Championships to the Don Callis Family’s Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis on the March 4th episode of AEW Dynamite. JetSpeed teamed with Mistico to regain the titles at Revolution.

Page took four months off after AEW Revolution 2024, his last time taking time away from the company. One source in the company said Page’s upcoming time off is “indeterminate” and end up being weeks or months. Page is not currently advertised for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
