Injury Update on NXT’s Lars Sullivan & When He’s Expected Back
February 6, 2018 | Posted by
– According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (via wrestlinginc.com), Lars Sullivan was originally scheduled to face NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas for the title at NXT Takeover: New Orleans. Sullivan’s last TV appearance was in January against Lio Rush, but he wasn’t at last week’s NXT television tapings, and has also not been at the Performance Center. Meltzer reports that Sullivan has a knee injury and “a health issue,” that took him out of action. With NXT taping TV leading up to NXT Takeover: New Orleans, the change has to be made away from Sullivan as a challenger. Sullivan should be back in action in the next week or two.
