JD McDonagh Makes Return On WWE Raw

JD McDonagh is back in action, making his return to TV on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. Monday night’s show featured a segment in which CM Punk cut a promo addressing his WWE Elimination Chamber opponent, Finn Balor. Punk spoke about how Balor ruined his final match with AJ Styles and said that he would beat Balor’s ass at Elimination Chamber.

Balor then came out with Dominik Mysterio and McDonagh, making their way to the ring to surround Punk. Balor said they weren’t there to fight and then talked about his accomplishments, training with the best catch wrestlers and luchadors and beating Roman Reigns on his first night on WWE Raw. Balor said that he will make the main event of WrestleMania better by beating Punk and then facing Reigns.

The two went back and forth, with Punk taking shots at both Mysterio and McDonagh while saying the Judgment Day has dragged Balor down to their level. He gave them a chance to jump him but Balor held them back. They eventually left after Punk left the ring.

McDonagh has been away since December dealing with a number of injuries. You can see highlights from the segment below.
