John Cena Attached as Creator & EP for Peacock Series WWE Evil
– John Cena’s wrestling career might be winding down, but it appears he will still be working with WWE on various projects in the long-term, even outside of the ring. Deadline reports that NBCUniversal has ordered a new WWE-themed TV series, with John Cena attached as creator and executive producer. The project is called WWE Evil, and it will be a Peacock original series.
Per the report, WWE Evil is a “psychological exposé” in the minds of the most diabolical villains in WWE history, along with their impacts onto mainstream pop culture. Cena is writing the project, and he will serve as a narrator and executive producer.
Cena tweeted on the show, “For every good guy, there has to be a bad one and @WWE has created some of the BEST bad guys (and ladies) in the history of entertainment. Excited to highlight those who made us boo, scream, and sometimes cry!
