Johnny Gargano Shares Wrestling Podcast Idea, Wants To Interview Wrestling Stars as Their Character

WWE Superstar Johnny Gargano has come up with an interesting wrestling podcast/YouTube show idea, where he wants to interview wrestling and WWE stars from across the year. However, the twist of the show would be that they’re speaking as the character they were and their recollection from an event and not who they are now. Gargano shared the following pitch on his social media:

“I want to host a podcast (or a YouTube show) where I interview different former extra talent from @WWE segments throughout the years. But the catch is they’re actually speaking as the character they were that night.. not who they are now. For example, if there was an interview with Cedrick Von Haussen. The Champion of Lichtenstein is talking.. not Johnny Gargano. I want a 100% improv’d fictional backstory about their life and recollection of that night. It’s called ‘EXTRA EXTRA: HEAR ALL ABOUT IT.'”

Johnny Gargano and #DIY tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa were in action on the August 15 edition of WWE SmackDown, where they were defeated by The Street Profits.
