Karrion Kross Reveals His Reactions to Fans Chanting for Him at Triple H During WWE SummerSlam Post-Show

As previously reported, fans were actually chanting for Karrion Kross during a Triple H post-show interview for WWE SummerSlam 2025 earlier this month. During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show earlier today, former WWE Superstar Karrion Kross discussed the fans chanting for him during Triple H’s interview, along with his thoughts on Triple H’s reaction. Triple H reacted to the chants by responding, “You want Brock? You got him,” referring to Brock Lesnar, who returned after the main event of Night 2 of SummerSlam, attacking John Cena.

Kross noted that he’s unsure if Triple H was being sincere in his response and couldn’t tell if the fans were chanting “We Want Kross,” or if his response was meant as a joke. Below are some highlights:

Karrion Kross on if he thinks the response by Triple H was on purpose during the chants: “I don’t know. I don’t want to frame that situation, but when I did see it, I laughed because he could’ve misheard it. And he has a very dry sense of humor, and I thought there was a good chance he could’ve been joking around. I am the same way. I have a very dry sense of humor, and I’m very sarcastic. It’s like an East Coast, New England thing. I didn’t know, but I saw it, and I looked at it. I just laughed.”

On his reaction to the chants for Kross: “On the back end of that, I was very flattered that after the show, it was a show I’m not even on, that everyone is chanting. That was awesome. And then the night before was over, people were doing it on both nights, and I thought that was really, really cool, man. I’ve had conversations with people in the business for over 30 years, really solid wrestlers, like Dynamite Kid level solid people, have gone their whole careers and never gotten an ovation like that, never mind like once. They’ve never had things like that happpen. It really put things in perspective. Like, yeah, he’s right. There’s incredible people that are in this business that aren’t received like that by the crowd. And stuff like that, I will never forget for the rest of my live.”

During Night 1 of SummerSlam, Kross lost a singles bout against Sami Zayn. However, his WWE contract later reportedly expired on August 10. Kross and Scarlett are reportedly no longer a part of the WWE roster.
