Kevin Knight picked up a massive win on AEW Dynamite, as he defeated MJF to retain the TNT Championship. Wednesday night’s episode opened with Knight battling the former World Champion in a match that was set up on last week’s show.

Knight was forced to try and survive for much of the match as MJF controlled the action. However, he was able to battle back and put his opponent on his heels. MJF took advantage when he targeted Knight’s knee, but he wasn’t able to put the champion away. Frustrated, he went out of the ring and grabbed the TNT Championship. The referee took the title away and MJF used the distraction to put on the Dynamite Diamond Ring. However, Knight hit a low blow and then pulled MJF into a small package to retain the title at just over 15 minutes.

After the match, MJF went after Knight and chop blocked him, but Darby Allin made the save and hit a Scorpion Death Drop on him. You can see the highlights below.
