A new report has an update on Private Party’s contract statuses with AEW. The AEW Tag Team have largely been out of the ring in 2025, only appearing once in AEW. Fightful Select reports that as of now, the two are still both under contract with the company. It had been reported in June that their contracts were expiring in the summer. However, that obviously does not appear to have been the case.

The site reports that sources in AEW “implied” that Marq Quen or Isiah Kassidy have deals that do not expire at the same time. It’s conceivable (though not confirmed) that this could be due to injury time being added to one or both contracts. There is no word on whether they would prefer to stay with AEW or leave.

Private Party’s last match on AEW TV was on January 22nd. The two lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to The Hurt Syndicate at that time. Fightful Select notes that the Hurt Syndicate like the team and advised them to spend more time in the gym to improve in their wresting career. Sources indicated that the Hurt Syndicate have been quite helpful to the team.

Outside of AEW, the two have only worked one other match this year. They teamed up at HOG City Of Dreamz in March to pick up a win over Daron Richardson & Jodi Aura at the New York City event.

No word as of now as to when they may next be seen on AEW TV.
