Leila Gray Enjoyed Her Brief Appearance In WWE, Says Sasha Banks Is A Dream Opponent

During a virtual signing for Captain’s Corner (via Fightful), Leila Gray spoke about her appearance on WWE Smackdown back in April and said she enjoyed her time there. She wrested on April 22 as Cat Cardoza, in a loss to Raquel Rodriguez. She is now working in AEW. Here are highlights:

On working with WWE: “Well it was an unforgettable experience. Working with WWE was great. So the fact that I got to wrestle Raquel Gonzalez in her debut match on SmackDown, so it was both of our debuts, and I think we both killed it. I think we did a great job, it was a lot of fun, and I don’t know what else to say about that. It was definitely an experience that I will never forget.”

On her dream opponent: “If it’s anybody in the world, I would like to wrestle Sasha Banks. Sasha Banks is my favorite wrestler, she’s definitely an inspiration to me, and she would be my ultimate dream match. We might see if if Sasha comes to AEW.”
