On a recent episode of What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon, Logan Paul discussed his decision to join WWE, his interactions with Vince McMahon and more. Paul worked WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Here are the highlights:
On Being Born To Be a Wrestler:
“Do you know my first ever video was me and Jake doing stunts in our basement? Doing stunts in our basement, which by the way is exactly what I’m doing now. But I’m not in my basement, I’m in a ring in front of 50,000 people. Like ironically, I was literally born, bred, and designed to be a wrestler.”
On When He Realized Such:
“I didn’t see it at all. It wasn’t until after our first WrestleMania, I came backstage and your dad was like, ‘Your future is here,’ or something like that. I was like, ‘Okay, buddy. We’ll see about that.’
“Dude, I have few but a couple funny stories about your dad. And that was one of them like, ‘Yeah, okay, we’ll see about that.’ And then I went right to the locker room, and I see me doing the frog splash and all these moves with The Miz. I was like, ‘Yo, I look like a wrestler! This is crazy.’ I was buying it. I was buying what I was selling in that ring. I was like, ‘Oh s**t. Maybe Vince was right!”
