Logan Paul Says Match With Bad Bunny Would Be the Biggest Of All-Time

Logan Paul isn’t saying that he’s set to face Bad Bunny any time soon, but if it does he says it would be the biggest match of all time. The notion of a match between Paul and Bad Bunny has become a thing in many fans’ minds after Paul was asked if he was excited for Bunny’s Super Bowl performance and he gave an emphatic “no.” Paul does not have a match for WrestleMania 42 yet, and it was reported that the rapper is going to be back in WWE “sooner rather than later” earlier this week.
Paul was asked about the matter in his appearance on The Takedown On SI. The Vision member put over Bunny’s wrestling talent but denied that he was trying to “set the table” for a match, noting that he didn’t know Bunny’s schedule. He also explained his comments on the Super Bowl red carpet. You can see highlights below:
On a Possible Match With Bad Bunny:
“Look, if Bad Bunny versus Logan Paul happened I have no doubt it would be the biggest wrestling match of all-time. Of all time, like hands down without question. That match extends so far beyond the WWE Universe. It breaks all barriers of what people think wrestling is. You have the opportunity to capture a global audience in one match.
“And the guy is talented. The guy is so talented. Like the definition of a superstar, whether it’s performing at a big game halftime show or actually even wrestling. I’m a wrestler, okay? Like I wanted to be like, ‘This guy, he can’t wrestle.’ The brother can wrestle. Now that said, I’ve got some experience under my belt. I don’t see how he’s going to be able to stand my pressure and my athleticism and strength. But if it happens, put it like this: that’s a big money match. That’s a big money match I know the whole world would tune in for. And I think it would be a real good one.
On If He’s Trying to “Set The Table” For a Match:
“I’m not setting the table. That’s just my opinion. I don’t know. Look, the thing about him is, ‘s a busy guy. He’s a very busy guy. I don’t know what is on his agenda. I would like to make it happen.”
On His Comment Before the Halftime Show:
“By the way, even on the red carpet when I was asked, ‘Are you excited for the halftime show?’ Man, I can’t remember the last halftime show I’ve been excited for. That was just like, ‘Bro, I’m a grown man, bro.’ I don’t even know if I’m paying attention for most of the game. Like, I’m working. I’m mingling and stuff.
“And so like, yeah. Maybe part of it is knowing what could happen in the WWE. But also part of it is just like, I’m walking down a red carpet. People read into it either way.”
On How a Match Between Them Would Go:
“My opinion is that if Bad Bunny vs. Logan Paul ever does happen, I’m gonna smoke him. I’m gonna smoke him.”
