Mark Briscoe Reflects On Briscoe Farm Becoming a Wrestling ‘Phenomenon’

Mark Briscoe says he’s honored by how his family farm has become a “phenomenon” in wrestling. The Briscoe farm has appeared in several promotions, including the famed Fight On The Farm match between the brothers in Ring of Honor. Briscoe was asked about the farm’s rise in popularity among fans during his recent interview with Fightful).

“Quite the honor,” Briscoe said. “The little farm in Sandy Fork, who would have known it would be a worldwide phenomenon, but here we are. We’re proud of what we do and where we grew up. Me and Jay were always fighting, wrestling, playing, and dad was always like, ‘Go check the chickens.’ ‘Go check the chickens? What exactly does he do when he checks the chickens?’ It’s always been embedded into us.”

In addition to ROH, the Briscoe Farm has popped up in AEW, TNA and a number of other promotions over the years.
