Matt Hardy Thinks Mike Bailey Would Fit Well in AEW or WWE
On the latest episode of Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, the TNA star talked about Mike Bailey potentially going to AEW or WWE after his TNA Wrestling contract ends. You can check out some highlights below:
On Mike Bailey’s future in wrestling with his contract with TNA coming to an end: “I definitely think he could be a very important cog in an AEW machine. I think he could also be a very important cog in a WWE machine. I think he’s that talented, and he really understands what he is. He has such a great understanding for the business, he understands how to work with different people. I could tell immediately, like when I was working with him and Trent Seven and we were constructing things, putting things together, he totally understood the way I should be utilized and the way he should utilize himself and stuff in our matches. And he really impressed me a lot, he grew on me very quickly. And I think he’s an extremely talented guy, and I think he has a lot to offer the business.”
On whether Mike Bailey could make it to WWE or AEW: “I think he could, yeah. I do think he could. Especially now with the new regime, where it’s a little bit of a different mindset, especially towards smaller guys and whatnot. I think he could.”
On where he would fit in NXT: “And NXT, I think he would thrive in NXT, you know. And I do think he could even supersede that on the main roster in some spot.”
