Matt Hardy Recalls Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 Livestream Appearance, Praises Cenat

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, TNA Wrestling star and Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy spoke about his appearance on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 Livestream last year. Below are some highlights from Fightful:

Matt Hardy on Setting Up a Stream With Kai Cenat

“It’s so crazy. I didn’t have any idea. I had met a guy. I was flying across from him, we’re sitting up in first, a couple of years ago. He said, ‘Hey, I work with Mr. Beast. He’s in North Carolina. He’s got a bunch of guys that are wrestling fans, we’d love to do something with you and your brother at some point. Can we exchange numbers?’ I did. Now he works with Kai. He texted me and said, ‘Hey, he really wants you and Jeff to be part of his Streaming September, where he streams live the whole month.’ I said, ‘Okay, I’ll look at our dates,’ and we were super busy during September and October. It was when we were doing the TNA / NXT title run and everything. It’s so funny because a week passed and he said, ‘Hey, did you guys find a date?’ ‘I haven’t yet,’ because I didn’t realize how big of a deal it was. He said, ‘Well, the first week we had the Jonas brothers, Kim Kardashian.’ Jesus Christ! They want us there? So I said, ‘I’ll find a date.’ So we did find a date. We end up talking to him, we made it work where after Edmonton I came out there, Jeff came from a con in Nashville.”

His Thoughts on Cenat

“We went out there and did it, and he was as nice as he can be. Going up there, we went through three security check points. It was a big deal, man, and I didn’t realize how huge it was. There were people who recognize us on the street that are like, ‘Hey, I recognize you guys. You’re wrestlers, right? I saw you on Kai Cenat’s stream.’ Which is wild. But his guy, his producer, his agent guy he said, ‘Who’s your dream list to have on your Streaming September?’ He said, ‘Let me think about it. Oprah Winfrey, Obama, the Hardy Boyz, Kevin Hart, LeBron James.’ I said, ‘Hold up.’ He said, ‘That’s the order.’ I said, ‘We’re number three? What is going on here? We are there.’”

At last night’s TNA No Surrender 2026, The Hardys were in action, teaming up with The Righteous in an eight-man tag team bout against Order 4. Order 4 picked up the victory.
