Matt Hardy Responds To Allegations About His Sobriety

With all the turmoil regarding Jeff Hardy’s recent DUI arrest, Matt Hardy has been getting blamed on social media. It got even more heated last night when a fan (as well as Bill DeMott) speculated that Matt had been drinking with Jeff Hardy the night before Jeff got arrested.

The fan wrote: “What about @MATTHARDYBRAND who was getting drunk with him and let him drive knowing he was drunk and doesn’t have a license full accountability @TonyKhan right @BillDeMott.”

DeMott replied: “It’s a good question.”

Hardy defended himself and wrote on his Twitter: “Understand your passion on this & agree that DD is unacceptable. I expect speculation from fans, but not you. I haven’t touched a drug in over a decade, haven’t drank since I’ve been a Dad. Saw Jeff last on Sun night & flew early Mon w/@RebyHardy. I can’t be with Jeff every min.”

Reby Hardy was less polite. She added: “Fucking dickhead.”
