– The Associated Press named AEW star and former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) among “11 breakout actors to watch” for the summer movie season. The article named “The Gilmore Boys” from Happy Gilmore 2 in the group
The Gilmore Boys in the sequel include Ethan Cutkosk, Conor Sherry, MJF, and Philip Schenider. Speaking on the upcoming sequel, MJF commented to AP, “I looked like a goon so they just assumed I’d be fine on the rink.”
The sequel arrives on Netflix on July 25.
