MLW News: Update On Satoshi Kojima’s Injury, Company Happy With Ticket Sales, Salina de la Renta Note

– A new report has an update on Satoshi Kojima’s injury status. As reported, Kojima is dealing with an aggravated MCL injury that has been attributed to the attack by World Titan Federation during a media event earlier this month.

PWInsider reports that Kojima’s status is “greatly improved.” The MLW World Champion was listed initially as day-to-day and there’s no word on whether that’s changed yet.

– The site also notes that MLW is very pleased with advance ticket sales for their May 11th Azteca Lucha event in Chicago as well as MLW War Chamber on March 29th in Tampa and Battle Riot VI in June. The site says that per sources, it has been the best year for MLW since 2018 and it’s hoped that momentum will continue.

– Finally, the report notes that Salina de la Renta has been producing some of the pre-tapes for the company and is the main director for the pre-tapes involving the the Women’s Featherweight division. de la Renta has had a large imp[act on the women’s division, which she has been working with since November.
