It was reported last week that WWE shut down its Talent Management Group after launching it in November, which had been set up to make third party deals for the talent for sponsorships, film roles or social media. Some of the people who were moved to the division noted publicly that they were laid off, although WWE hasn’t commented on the news.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that talent hasn’t been told about whether they will be able to make third party deals again. According to one wrestler, they don’t know what the news meant, as the group was supposed to help them get outside deals and revenue “since we aren’t allowed to post about anything (product wise) we like.”
