Note On Recent WWE RAW Creative Changes, Randy Orton vs. Braun Strowman Match Being Pulled
Fightful Select has more details on recent WWE RAW creative changes, which included Sheamus winning the United States Championship from Riddle at WrestleMania 37, the previously announced Randy Orton/Braun Strowman match that never took place on RAW, and more.
According to Fightful, after Sheamus won the title from Riddle at WrestleMania, the plan was to have them continue their feud. However, that obviously changed after the show as Sheamus hasn’t competed on the previous two editions of RAW, while Riddle began a short program with Orton.
Fightful also notes that the change made to the Orton/Strowman match was made on the day of the show last week, and prior to that, there were no immediate plans for the Strowman and Drew McIntyre vs. MACE and T-BAR program that’s now in place.
Additionally, Fightful reports that Orton was in favor of working with Riddle, so the changes were made on the show.
