Note on Recent Report for ‘New’ Braun Strowman Merchandise

– As previously reported, WWE Shop recently appeared to release merchandise labeled as “new” for former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman, who was released from the company last month. PWInsider has a report with some information on what might’ve caused this confusion.

The shirts, while labeled as new, were actually first released before Strowman was released on June 2, 2021. Additionally, the WWE Shop lists a number of shirts that are “new,” but they’ve actually been up with the other summer releases for a while. Also, due to a certified purchase review from the shirt that went up at a certain date (July 7), the shirt listings for Strowman likely went up for preorder in June. While the website tags label the shirts as new, they were likely available for preorder beforehand.

In short, this likely wasn’t a case WWE releasing brand-new merchandise for Braun Strowman after he was released last month.
